Safer snow
Education is also one of the key issues for the Austrian cable car companies. Safe coexistence on the pistes is possible with the right attitude and preparation. Under the motto "safer snow - more fun", projects to encourage more safety in alpine winter sports are supported. Together with partners, Austrian cable car companies are appealing to the brain and heart of the winter sportsperson, to raise awareness and strengthen their sense of responsibility when it comes to safety on the pistes.
Other organisations participating in the working group "safer snow - more fun" are the Transport Safety Board (KfV), the Ministry for Education, Science and Culture, the Austrian Skiing Association, various sport shops, the Association of Austrian Sports Goods Manufacturers and Austrian ski schools.
